Integrity is strengthened through practice, not intention. The exercises below are designed to be repeated and revisited.
Exercise 1: Integrity Alignment Assessment (Retakable)
Rate each statement from 1-5
(1 = Strongly Disagree, 5 = Strongly Agree)
- My actions reflect my stated values.
- I address uncomfortable truths promptly.
- Others can rely on my follow-through.
- I admit mistakes without defensiveness.
- I do not omit truths to protect myself.
- I speak honestly even when it risks loss.
- I notice when I rationalize misalignment.
- I course-correct once I notice drift.
- I do not rely on secrecy for stability.
- I am consistent across contexts.
- I prioritize long-term trust over short-term comfort.
- I take responsibility under stress.
- I communicate limits clearly.
- I repair trust when it is damaged.
- I value truth over image.
Scoring
- 65-75: Strong alignment
- 50-64: Moderate alignment
- 35-49: Active drift
- Below 35: Integrity under strain
Retake monthly. Track trends - not perfection.
Exercise 2: Weekly Alignment Audit
Once per week, answer:
- Where did my behavior align with my values?
- Where did it not?
- What did I avoid?
- What did that avoidance protect me from?
- What is one small correction I can make next week?
Integrity grows through awareness and adjustment.
Exercise 3: Commitment Mapping
Choose one core value. Write:
- What this value requires of me
- Where I fall short under stress
- One specific behavior that would reflect alignment this week
Integrity is built through specific actions, not abstract intentions.
Exercise 4: Truth Exposure Practice
Once per week:
- Identify one avoided truth
- State it clearly (to yourself or another person)
- Observe the outcome - without self-judgment
Integrity strengthens through exposure, not avoidance.
